         Nayantara, Jeeva pair up again    
Nayantara and Jeeva are uniting again for the film titled Thirunal to be directed by PS Ramnath. This is happening nine years after the release of National award winning director SP Jananadhan’s film ‘E’ in which both stars had starred.

         Nivin Pauly in Lal Jose’ film    
Nivin Pauly has been roped in to play the lead role in Lal Jose’ upcoming untitled film. Nivin in on cloud nine after the success of his latest film Oru Vadakkan Selfie. The actor is presently acting in Neena.

         Kavya is heroine in Ente Amma    
Kavya Madhavan’s next film in which she will be playing the lead actress is Ente Amma. The cast include Manoj K Jayan, Biyon, Nedumudi Venu, Ganesh Kumar and Sreedevi Unni.

         Revathy’s next film in Malayalam    
Actress and director Revathy is going to direct a film in Malayalam next. The plan is to start the work next year. She said the film’s story would perfectly fit into Malayali milieu.

         Lekshmi Menon with Jayam Ravi    
Lekshmi Menon, who planned to quit the film industry, has changed her decision now. Reports say the actress will be next seen in a Tamil film. The actress has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Jayam Ravi in Shakti Soundar Rajan’s untitled film.

         Kamal as style Mannan’s villain    
In a first, Kamal Haasan is going to play villain opposite Rajnikanth. Rajni has acted as Kamal’s villain but the vice versa has not happened. The film is the second part of Enthiran and will be directed by hitmaker Shankar. However, there were earlier reports that Amir Khan would take up the role but later he backtracked.

Actor-scenarist Murali Gopy, after a small gap, will do a cameo in his next film. After being part of projects such as Maya Bazar, Silma Nadan, Murali will appear in the guest role in Jamuna Pyari to be directed by Thomas Sebastin.

Anil Radhakrishnan Menon’s start to his filmy career was with back to back hits. Menon is the director who carved a niche for himself by winning a national award for his first film North 24 Katham.

         Srinda to shake a leg in Loham    
Srinda Ashab has been roped in for a song sequence by Renjith for his new film Loham with Mohanlal in the lead. Srinda will shake a leg with Manikuttan in the film.

         Mammootty as interesting police officer    
In the film to be directed by Renji Panicker’s son Nithin Renji Panicker, Mammooty will be the hero. He would appear as a jovial police officer who goes about chewing beetle leaf. Nithin has also written the story and script for the film.

Trisha has been approached to play the lead opposite Kamal Hassan in his next film. It is hinted that she has agreed to do the film after reading the script. The film to be directed by the actor’s associates will be produced by his production company.

In the film to be directed by actress Mallika, who had won national award for her acting in Byari, actress Bhavana is not to play the heroine in spite of earlier reports to the contrary. Bhavana herself has come out with the clarification that she is not going to act in the film.

Namitha Pramod will play the female lead in Nadir Shah’s debut film named Amar Akbar Antony. Earlier in actress Vedhika was roped in for the film. Prithviraj, Indrajith and Jayasurya have prominent roles in the film.

         Prithviraj to play tourist guide    
Prithviraj will play a tourist guide in his next. Prithvi plays a different character in the film of Jis Joy of Bicycle Thieves. Swathi Reddy, who acted in North 24 Katham and Amen, will be paired opposite Prithviraj. The film has not been named yet.

         Mammootty again with Johny Antony    
A new Mammootty film to be directed by Johny Antony will be produced by Milan Jaleel. After ‘Thurppu Gulan’ and ‘Thappana’, Johny, Jaleel and Mammootty are uniting for the new project. Nishad Koya, who had assisted the scenarist of ‘Ordinary’, is writing the script.

Actor Shine Tom Chacko embroiled in the cocaine case will play the main character in Aashiq Abu’s new film. The film named Rani Padmini has Rima Kallingal and Manju Warrier in the lead. Aashiq and Shine had assisted director Kamal. Shine has also assisted Aashiq in Salt 'N Pepper.
