Mega star Mamootty will do triple roles in the film to be directed by newbie Saji. The star did a similar ‘act’ in Ranjith’s Paleri Manikyam: Oru Pathirakolapathakathinte katha.

         Manju Warrier to play 20-year-old    
Malayalam’s favorite actress Manju Warrier will play a 20-year-old in the new film of Rojin Thomas’, one of the directors of Philips and the Monkey Pen. The shooting of the film named Joe and the Boy is progressing in Kodaikanal.

         Anoop with salt ‘n’ pepper look    
Actor–script writer Anoop Menon is going to appear with a salt and pepper look after his 2013 release Buddy. The film is Pavada, being directed by G Marthandan.

All of a sudden statues of Jesus Christ (Tiny Tom) and Gandhian Parameswaran Pillai (Joy Mathew) regains life and starts talking. That’s where Uttopiayile Rajavu starts. They are accompanied by a crow (voiced by Salim Kumar) and together they narrate the story of CP Swathanthran of Kokrankara.

         Double Barrel...Hail Lijo Jose Pellissery !!!!    
I was really looking forward to Double Barrel considering the fact that it was coming from Lijo Jose Pellissery after the highly successful Amen. The promos did give me the impression that something extraordinarily new was coming up and I wasn't wrong.

         Kunjiramayanam is enjoyable!    
Kunjiramayanam is a delightful story of several people living in a village named Desham. Of course the character Kunjiraman (Vineeth Sreenivasan) is the crux of the story. The film is like a fairy tale and if you watch the film keeping that aspect in mind, you are most likely to leave the theatre with a smile.

         Kangana to play an actress in Rangoon    
Kangana Ranaut is looking forward to Vishal Bhardwaj's 1940-set drama Rangoon that will see her playing an actress, who is romantically involved with her mentor. Riding high on the success of her latest film Tanu Weds Manu Returns, the National Award-winning actress will star alongside Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in the movie.

         Kajal replaces Keerthy Suresh    
Actress Kajal Aggarwal has replaced Keerthy Suresh in Kavalai Vendam. The latter had walked out of the project citing date issues. “Keerthy was initially signed on for the project, but since the project got delayed, she had to exit due to her prior commitments. We’ve brought in Kajal Aggarwal as her replacement,” a source from the film’s unit told IANS.

South Indian actress Miya George’s next assignment is Thottavadi. There is a strong theme underlying the film being directed by George Varghese. According to reports, the film would be the actresses’ best work.

Actors Prithviraj and Miya will never forget the shoot of Sachi’s debut film Anarkali. The shoot was held in Lakshadweep under extreme weather conditions. The heat was terrible.
