Ranbir Kapoor will star opposite actress Alia Bhatt in director Ayan Mukherjee's next film. Karan Johar, who will be producing the film, took to Twitter to share the news. The movie is expected to release on December 23, 2016.

Online media had reported that Fahadh Faasil will be seen along with Jayaram in the film directed by Sibi Malayil after a gap of two years. However, scriptwriter K Girish Kumar rubbished the rumours and said that he is not part of the film.

The script is by Udaykrishna-Sibi K Thomas team. Rai Lekshmi as Kutty’s wife is the heroine of the film. The duo is pairing up after some time.

         Unni Mukunthan in Sarath’s film    
Youth actor Unni Mukunthan will play the lead in the film to be directed by Sharath A Haridasan after Salala Mobiles. The search is on for the heroine and rest of the cast and the final list is not ready. The plan is to begin shooting in August.

         Nitya Menen not eyeing bollywood    
Nitya Menen, is an actress who found a space in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films. Actresses having worked in these films will be eager to step into bollywood, but this actress is not keen in that.
