Childrens poems, English literature, Malayalam literature and the recital of Malayalam poems - all main sections of the evening were rich in content, variety in genre and enjoyable to listen to. The selection of the discussion and presentation was so varied that even a novice to literature would have run into a nearest library and grab a book to enjoy the pleasure of reading.

Another young child Aparna Sekhar presented her appreciation of CS Lewis and The Lion, the Wich and the Wardrobe. The talk including the bio data on the author was interesting and appealing.

Dr Ravi Menon lead discussion on history of Kozhilkkode was revealing and thorough. From a modest introduction Ravi Menon went into great detail of the book "Kozhikkodinte Charithram: Mythukalum Yatdarthyavum" by Balakrishna Kurup. Fresh and unbiased thought of an young person came through this enthusiastic and engaging presentation which made the reading and discussion of history a delight.

Mrs.Prabha Sekhar`sand Mrs. Anupama Rajeevs poem recitals were served as sweets at the feast of KALA literary discussion.Prabha Sekhars Vayalar poem "Sathyathinethra vayassayi?" was rendered with the strength and beauty of the poem. The oral poemappealed to another level of sensibility through this recital. Mrs. Anupama Rajeevs poem was by Kareeppuzha Sreekumar`s "Njananu sahyan" .
