THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Marayamuttom police on Sunday arrested the landowner of the granite quarry at Sasthampara, a part of which caved in causing the death of two workers. The arrested has been identified as Sukumaran (77).  A case has been registered against him and Alosyius, who is running the quarry on lease, under Sections 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and 34 (Acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) and section 3 and 4 of the Explosive Substances Act. Sukumaran was arrested from his house at Nandavanam. The police are on the lookout for Aloysius, who has gone into hiding.
