Julie 2 is the film that has run into controversies for its overt portrayal of glamour and sex. The latest revelation that it is the real-life story of an actress, who is still alive, has given room for new controversies.

The new revelation has been made by the film’s producer Pahlaj Nihlani.

“The film is based on the life of the actress who had been very much live in the film world from 1990 to 2000. Her name can’t be revealed. But those who come out after seeing the film will understand who that is. She is actress who had ruined her career by indulging in immorality and ‘adjustments’.

The actress started her career with one of the Khan-trio but she shines as a heroine in South India. Her love relationship with a married actor led to her being side-lined in South Indian film industry. Thus she become a part of Bhojpuri film. As she had no qualms about showing glamour, she became a hot star there. She had an illegal relationship with an actor, who has acted in Julie 2,” he explained.

The film was released the other day world-over.

The people who came out of the theatre after watching the film said Julie 2 is the story of an old-time actress who was flying high with her sister in South India.
