  • Visit www.csab.in for filing choices online for admission to the National Institutes of Technology, the Indian Institutes of Information Technology, 13 Centrally funded technical institutes and several self-financed technical institutes based on the rank in the Joint Entrance Examination (Main). Registration for the first and second rounds of seat allocation by the Central Seat Allocation Board is on July 1.
     
  • Apply till July 1 for an entrance examination to be conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations in Thiruvananthapuram for admission to the M.Sc. Nursing course in the government nursing colleges in Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Kozhikode, Alappuzha and Thrissur and government seats in self-financing colleges. www.cee.kerala. gov.in
     
  • Registration for admission to B.Tech. programmes in the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, on http://admission2013.iist.ac.in till July 10.
     
  • The National Power Training Institute, Nagpur, has invited applications for admission to a 26-week postgraduate diploma course in Transmission and Distribution Systems. Those with a BE or a B.Tech. degree in Electrical and Electrical and Electronics and Electrical and Power Engineering ma apply. They should be aged 27 or below as on September 1, 2013, relaxed in the case of reserved categories. There are 50 seats. The course fee is Rs. 1,46,068. Last date: July 19.   • The Central Board of Irrigation and Power, New Delhi, has invited applications for admission to its 52-week post diploma course in Thermal Power Plant Engineering for those with a diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Last date: August 21. www.cbip.org.
     
  • The Apparel Training and Design Centre Community Colleges has invited applications for admission to diploma courses. In Kerala, the community colleges function in Thiruvananthapuram (KINFRA International Apparel Park, Thumba) and Kannur (KSIDC Industrial Growth Centre, Valiavelicham, Mooriyad). Last date: July 27.
