PATHANAMTHITTA: Different parts of Pathanamthitta district is said to have experienced earthquake tremors on Wednesday. The tremor was noticed in 14th mile of Pallikkal panchayat, Pazhakulam, Nooranadu, Palamel panchayats, Adikulangara, Charumoodu, Kurambala Thekku and Kudashanadu areas.    

In these areas, people heard loud noise and felt the tremor. In many areas, cracks have appeared on walls of buildings in many areas.

Meanwhile, there is no official confirmation on this. The authorities concerned said the quake was not registered in the equipment currently available with the Met department.
