ANCHAL: In a case in which a youth was beaten up by actor-MLA Ganesh in front of the former’s mother for not giving way for his car, the Special Branch has come out with a report against the MLA.

In the report, it is said that Ganesh Kumar beat on the shoulder of Ananthakrishnan and pushed him. Ananthakrishnan is the son of Agasthyakode Puliyathu house residents Gopalakrishnan and Sheena.

Besides Ganesh, driver Shanthakumar also beat him.

Police said that Ananthakrishnan and his mother were travelling in a car as they were to reach a house of mourner. Ganesh Kumar, after visiting the same house was returning. Both their cars in opposite directions got trapped in a narrow road. His requested Ganesh Kumar if his car could move in reverse so that the cars can move easily. But, an irritated Ganesh Kumar, stepped out of his car, verbally abused the woman and beat up Ananthakrishnan. His driver also later joined the MLA. The MLA also threatened them, saying he is in power and he is not scared.
