THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former KPCC president V M Sudheeran has alleged that ineligible candidates from Kerala found place in the AICC. It is reported that Sudheeran wishes to discontinue from the AICC if the situation doesn’t change.

Yet another Congress leader P C Chacko has also come to the fore against the list of AICC members form Kerala. Chacko, who said that he doesn’t want to be a member of the political affairs committee, also alleged that he was not consulted while chosing the members. He added that the leadership was choosing its own members without discussing it with anyone.

Since there had been criticisms galore about the AICC list of members, the final list of members were decided this time around in a secretive manner. It is reported that the final list was prepared by a team consisting of opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala, former chief minister Oommen Chandy, V M Sudheeran and KPCC president M M Hassan.

The list, which was handed over by general secretary Mukuol Vasnik, who is in charge of Kerala, was also approved by the high command.

13 among the 65 in list of members are women.
