THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a negligent attitude towards states ruled by the Left.

“Even in the matter of Ockhi cyclone and the natural calamity that followed, the Centre had a different attitude. When Modi called up the Tamil Nadu Chief to inquire about situation, he didn’t inquire anything about Kerala. Certain media groups created news only to humiliate the government,” he alleged.

Pinarayi Vijayan also denied the allegation that he was going to buy a bullet proof car for his security.
“Bullet proof vehicles are used for the security of the prime minister, president and other VIPs, when they reach the State. The campaign that bullet-proof cars are used for my security is false. I have travelled through roads and conditions worse than this,” he added.
