THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Have I acted in so many films? When yesteryear actress Sheila asks this question with surprise, a slight appears on the face of veteran actor Madhu. Soon both walk down the memory lane as they closely watch the colour and black & white photos of their old films.

Both were here at the Nishangandhi auditorium to visit the photo exhibition jointly organised by Kerala Chalachithra Academy and Kerala Film Development Corporation to honour Malayalam cinema, which is celebrating its 90th year. The exhibition is being held in connection with the International film Festival of Kerala 2017.

The photos on show are from the old-time collectibles in the possession of famous still photographer P David.

Among them, there was a photo from the film Sphodanam in which Sheila, Sukumaran and Soman had prominent roles.
The photo shows Sheila standing at a bath hut. As soon as Sheila saw the picture, she turned emotional. After that she posed for a posse of shutterbugs who stood in front of her.
