THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP state president Kummanam Rajasekharan has written in a Facebook post that a case of involuntary manslaughter has to be filed against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for not taking any action even after getting the Centre’s warning about the Ockhi cyclone.

He also said that the CM played with the lives of innocent people.

He added that the criticism by the Latin Catholic Archdiocese that lives of more people could have been saved if the state government had given warning about the cyclone is a charge sheet against the CM, and that the CM must accept it.

Kummanam further alleged that the state government not utilising even one per cent of the disaster relief fund of Rs. 1021 crore that the Centre had allocated them is an unpardonable crime.
