The shooting of Kamal Haasan starrer Viswaroopam 2 has entered the last phase. The film will reach theatres in April 2018. Kamal himself has done the script and direction of the film. 
 
The first part - Viswaroom was released in 2013. Despite initial controversies surrounding the film, it became a super hit. The second part will also have Pooja Kumar and Andrea as heroines. 
 
Viswaroopam 2 is being produced under the banner of Rajkamal films. Sanu Varghese is doing the cinematography and Gibran is composing songs. Editing is by Mahesh Narayan.
