KOCHI: A 15-year-old boy, a 10th Standard student of the Government High School at Muppathadam near Aluva, was hospitalised here after being allegedly assaulted by one of his teachers.

One of the shoulder bones of the boy, identified as Abhinav, was reportedly broken.

The incident took place on November 24 when the teacher allegedly unleashed a violent attack on Abhinav and two of his friends after taking them to a separate room.

The relatives of the boy alleged that the police had not taken any action on a complaint filed by them. A complaint has been filed to this effect with the office of the Superintendent of Police, Ernakulam.
